Hurricane Sandy Outreach

If you are a church in New York right now, you understand first hand how devastating Hurricane Sandy has been to the people there. Often times God allows our lives to be shaken so that we will look for answers and meaning and find it in Him. Please take this opportunity to present the Gospel to the hurting people around you and let God’s love shine through these difficult times.

This tract was designed especially for all those affected by Hurricane Sandy. We know you want to make a difference during this time and we want to help. These tracts are a great witnessing tool to hand out in neighborhoods and shelters every chance you get!

Thankful for Fathers

Have you ever asked a question and got hammered for it.

We’ve all probably been there. I remember in college it was a first hour Prophecy and Revelation, and the teacher had mentioned something about Genesis 6 and I had a concerned question about it and in the end I got hammered. (And yes I am bitter and angry to this day about how I was unfairly mistreated and every night scoure the internet looking for blogs and forums to post my story of academic abuse… Just kidding I am actually fine). I did learn a lesson from this experience and Paul even eludes to it in  I Corinthians 4:14 how we have ten thousand instructors but few fathers.

Today I am thankful for ministry leaders who act like fathers. People who when asked a tough questions—they don’t land blast you, stereotype you, insult you or throw you under the bus but actually take time to just answer your question. It just so happens this recently happened to me.
